Twitter celebrates 30 years of Magnus Carlsen
World chess champion Magnus Carlsen celebrated his 30th birthday on Monday and received many greetings for his special day on social media.
The Norwegian chess grandmaster has many records to his credit. Having first reached the No.1 position in the Fide World Ranking in 2010, he is only behind Russian legend Garry Kasparov when it comes to most of the time as the world’s highest rated player. .
Carlsen, who set the record for the longest unbeaten run in the sport, has a maximum classic score of 2882, the highest in the history of the game. He is the current world chess champion, champion of the game. fast chess world and blitz chess world champion.
Earlier this year, Carlsen suffered his first loss in more than two years and a record 125 games, while playing a tournament in his native Norway. The world No.1 lost to Polish grandmaster Jan-Krzysztof Duda, ranked relatively modest world No.15.
Carlsen, who is often hard on himself in the post-match analysis, offered no excuse for the shock loss. “Extremely disappointing”, he said: “Completely unforgivable”.
Carlsen’s undefeated journey dates back to July 31, 2018, when Azerbaijani Grandmaster Shakhriyar Mamedyarov defeated him. Meanwhile, Carlsen scored 44 wins and 81 draws against his opponents.

Magnus Carlsen is in another final. It is getting ridiculous. He is Federer plus Nadal, plus Djokovic, plus Murray on 64 squares. No one currently comes close to dominating their sport the way they do, in a sport that is truly a level playing field. https://t.co/uDNctA1k0w

#OnThisDay in 1990 a boy was born in the town of Tønsberg. No one knew he was going to dominate an area to such an extent that he would be considered one of the greatest, if not THE greatest!
